Rooted in love for Allah, the Qur’an, the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and his purified family, the Jaffery Center of Roanoke welcomes Muslim families and neighbors seeking worship, learning, and community.
We serve the Muslim community in Roanoke and the New River Valley through prayer, Islamic education, Qur’an learning, youth programs, community gatherings, and family-centered events.
Our goal is to help families stay connected to faith, build friendships, and grow together in a welcoming Islamic environment.

Join us for our upcoming Muharram Program at the Jaffery Center of Roanoke.
Muharram marks the beginning of the Islamic year and is a time of reflection, remembrance, learning, and community. Through lectures, supplications, and gatherings, we commemorate the life, sacrifice, and enduring message of Imam Hussain (A.S.), whose stand for faith, justice, and human dignity continues to inspire people around the world.
We warmly invite individuals and families to attend, learn, and connect with the community. Food will be served nightly, and all are welcome.
